Today, CNN's Jack Cafferty posed the question "Should President Obama consider not running for re-election?"  I think Jack is somewhat on target, but his question is a little off the mark.  I think the question right now is "Should the Democrats give Obama a free ride to the nomination?"  Obama's position is getting weaker by the day, and his re-election is in serious doubt.  Are the Democrats really just going to ride the Obama choo-choo around the bend and into a tunnel from which they will not emerge?  Someone among the Democrats  needs to challenge Obama, because his results so far are not something that will get him re-elected.
